Stonewood Strokers

Registration is officially open for the Summer 2026 swim season. We are excited to welcome both new and returning swimmers to the Stonewood Strokers for a season of skill development, competition, and lots of fun in the pool.

The Stonewood Strokers is a summer recreational team, and part of the San Joaquin Summer Swim Alliance swim league. We welcome swimmers of all abilities, ages 3-18 from all areas, and offer two groups: Strokers & Baby Strokers.

Strokers are swimmers able to swim at least one of the four swim strokes, the full length (25 yards) of the pool, unassisted. This includes butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle.

Baby Strokers are younger, less experienced swimmers who can swim unassisted, but need help to swim the length (25 yards) of the pool. *Please note: Our Baby Stroker Group is NOT for swim lessons and they do not practice.*

Our home pool is located at 8704 Stonewood Drive in Stockton, California. 

• Season Dates: May 5th - July 12th
• Mandatory Parent Meeting: TBA
• First Practice: Tuesday, May 5th
• Practice Schedule: Tuesdays-Thursdays from 6:00-7:45pm. Swimmers who swim 25 yards will practice from 6:00-6:40pm and swimmers who swim 50 yards will practice 6:45-7:45pm. 
• The first week of practice we will be determining practice times for swimmers that best suits their abilities. This means some swimmers who swim 50's will come to the first practice and vice versa. 
• Please note that when the pool opens (after Memorial day weekend), practices will be pushed an hour back. Hours for practice will be 7:00-7:40pm and 7:45-8:45pm. 
• Swim Meets: June 11, 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30
• Champ Meet: July 10-12
